The Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC) is an inter-regional multilateral forum launched in 1999 with the aim to promote better understanding, political and economic dialogue, and cooperation between the East Asia and Latin American regions so as to achieve more effective and fruitful relations and closer cooperation between the two regions.

During this iteration of the forum, delegates from East Asian, Latin American, and adjacent countries will work together to develop comprehensive and effective policy solutions to address the new potential of e-commerce and specifically regional and international e-commerce conducted by small firms in a post-Covid 19 economy. Delegates will work together to develop new infrastructure and trade agreements in order to support their country’s goals regarding e-commerce and their local small firms.
